Yesterday, Portsmouth, in collaboration with their former kit manufacturer Scoreline, officially re-released the club's iconic 1989-1991 home and away kits.
Interestingly, despite Portsmouth currently having a kit deal with Nike, these retro shirts have been officially licensed and produced by Scoreline, the original manufacturer who designed the kits for the team during that era.
Portsmouth 1989-91 Home Remake Kit
The new Scoreline Portsmouth 89-91 home remake shirt is an incredibly faithful recreation of the original design. It features the classic blue base with a subtle tonal checkerboard pattern incorporated into the fabric.
The remake perfectly captures the vintage aesthetic with a white collar featuring a red stripe and button details, matching the white cuffs on the long sleeves.
The vintage Portsmouth crest, the Scoreline logo, and the iconic "Goodmans" sponsor are all accurately placed on the chest.
Portsmouth 1989-91 Away Remake Kit
The new Scoreline Portsmouth 89-91 away remake shirt also stays completely true to its roots, bringing back the striking yellow and green colorway from the late 80s and early 90s.
It boasts a vibrant yellow base paired with a contrasting green overlapping V-neck collar and matching green sleeve cuffs.
Just like the home version, the green "Goodmans" sponsor logo, Scoreline branding, and the classic shield crest are flawlessly recreated to honor the retro look.
Both the home and away Portsmouth 1989-1991 remake kits are available to buy now on the official Portsmouth online store.

Nigeria Women Update Crest With 10 Stars
At the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), defending champions Nigeria featured a special detail on their shirts: 10 stars added above their crest. The "Super Falcons" had never worn stars on their kits in previous WAFCONs.
The 10 stars represent Nigeria's 10 continental titles, celebrating their history as the most dominant team in African women's football. Big thanks to our Vietnamese partner @jerseystory_vn for the collage image.
