Santos Wears Special Pele Kit

In yesterday's Brasileiro clash against Atlético Mineiro at the Vila Belmiro, Santos FC players took to the pitch wearing a highly unique and historic piece of kit to honor the ultimate football legend.

The new Santos 2026 Pele kit itself is identical to the standard Santos 2026 home kit. Umbro willingly and respectfully gave up its traditional manufacturer space on the uniform, specifically for this match to put the spotlight entirely on the King.

The Umbro diamond logo was completely absent, replaced instead by the legendary jumping fist-pump silhouette of the Pelé Brand.

This special match-worn kit serves as the grand kickoff for a new global partnership. The collaboration brings together four entities: Santos FC, Umbro, the Pelé Brand, and NR Sports, the marketing company managed by current Santos star Neymar, which now oversees the Pelé Brand.

According to the club's official statement, all the match-worn jerseys from yesterday's game have been collected and will be used for special upcoming actions.

This on-pitch tribute is just the beginning. The club confirmed that in the second half of 2026, this collaboration will officially launch an exclusive collection of products, campaigns, and special projects designed to unite heritage and innovation across different generations.

The crown jewel of this upcoming launch will be a special edition collector's shirt. This release will be strictly limited and individually numbered from 01 to 1091, representing the exact number of goals Pelé scored during his legendary career with Santos FC.
