Manchester United to Sign Betway Training Kit Deal

Deal Details: Manchester United is reportedly close to finalizing a training kit sponsorship deal with Betway worth around £20 million per year.
Sponsorship Gap: The club has been without a training kit sponsor since their previous agreement with Tezos ended in June 2025.
Premier League Regulations: While front-of-shirt gambling sponsors are banned from the 2026-2027 season in the Premier League, gambling sponsors are allowed in other spaces, such as training kits.

Update: Manchester United are reportedly set to agree to a training kit sponsorship deal with Betway. According to the Daily Mail, the agreement is worth £20 million per year. This is considered the highest figure, matching similar deals between Liverpool FC and AXA, as well as between Manchester City and Asahi. Thanks to @Lu_Class_ for the heads-up.

Manchester United are in advanced talks with British gambling company Betway regarding a new training kit sponsorship set to begin next season, as per The Athletic. If finalized, the multi-year agreement will see the Betway logo prominently displayed on all training wear used at Carrington and in official club media.

Manchester United Close to Agreeing Betway Training Kit Deal

The club has been without a dedicated training kit sponsor since their previous £24 million-per-year agreement with blockchain firm Tezos expired in June 2025. Following a search process lasting more than a year, Manchester United officials believe they have now found a strong commercial fit in the current market after exploring talks with several other brands.

Sources estimate the new partnership with Betway will be worth in excess of £18 million per year. Despite being slightly lower than the previous Tezos contract, the proposed agreement would still stand as one of the most valuable training kit deals in world football.

Coventry City debuted a special one-off version of their 26-27 home kit during their clash against Newcastle United at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The custom jersey was worn in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of an ongoing club initiative to promote early detection and raise awareness throughout October.

Crafted by Hummel, the kit keeps the traditional sky blue and white striped base while introducing distinctive pink details across the front and sleeves. The Hummel chevrons on the shoulders, main sponsor Monzo, and sleeve sponsor have all been switched to bright pink, while a large pink ribbon takes center stage on the chest between the supplier mark and club crest.

This matchday edition follows the earlier release of a limited-edition all-pink collector's shirt unveiled by the club at the beginning of the month. Match-worn shirts from the game are set to be auctioned off to raise funds for breast cancer charity initiatives.

Mexican Liga de Expansión club Leones Negros UdeG and domestic manufacturer Keuka have officially unveiled their new 26-27 third kit. Named "El Fuego Sagrado" (The Sacred Fire), the bold design pays tribute to the 101st anniversary of the refoundation of the Universidad de Guadalajara (1925–2026).

The Keuka Leones Negros 2026-27 third jersey features a dramatic and fiery graphic concept inspired by Mexican muralism and the poetry of former university rector Enrique Díaz de León. A large, realistic lion's face takes center stage on the front, surrounded by roaring flames in deep reds, oranges, and yellows. The vibrant artwork is contrasted with a black V-neck collar and matching cuffs with thin gold trim, while a black-and-silver university crest sits on the left chest.

Delivered in a custom commemorative presentation box, the Leones Negros 26-27 third shirt is available now through the club's official online store.

Qatar Stars League side Al-Arabi SC and Adidas have officially unveiled the club's new third kit for the 26-27 season. Launched under the concept "Where Land Meets Sea", the new release rounds off the Doha-based team's kit set for the current campaign alongside the red home and off-white away jerseys introduced in August.

The Adidas Al-Arabi 26-27 third shirt features a deep navy base complemented by a subtle, all-over tonal pattern of diagonal geometric dashes across the front panel and lower back (a standard Adidas pattern) . Elegant champagne gold accents elevate the design, coloring the Adidas Three Stripes on the shoulders, the brand logo, and a recolored monochrome edition of the club's eagle crest.

Doha Bank once again features prominently on the chest in matching gold, alongside gold detailing for the back namesets and additional club sponsors. The new strip is completed with coordinating shorts and socks and is scheduled to be worn in upcoming domestic league matches.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has been spotted testing a whiteout prototype of the next-generation Adidas Predator 2026 football boots during training. The England international, who has long served as one of the primary ambassadors for the Adidas Copa Pure line, took to the pitch in an unreleased all-white boot featuring a laced setup and a low-cut knit tongue design identical to the configuration favored by club teammate Martin Odegaard.

Declan Rice to Leave Adidas: Spotted in Whiteout Boots

Sep 4, 2026

The sighting is particularly intriguing given recent speculation surrounding Rice's boot sponsorship. The midfielder had previously been seen trialing unbranded whiteout models from rival brands, including the Nike Tiempo and Under Armour Magnetico 6, sparking rumors that he might depart the Three Stripes. However, his active role in testing Adidas's upcoming flagship control boot suggests that negotiations are progressing and that he could remain with the brand, potentially transitioning from the Copa to the Predator silo.

The next-generation Adidas Predator 27 is scheduled to launch in December 2026, lor January 2027. The upcoming generation draws heavy visual inspiration from the iconic 2000 Predator Precision, incorporating modern Nanostrike rubber grip elements, a redesigned Powerspine soleplate structure, and an engineered Primeknit upper across laced, laceless, and fold-over tongue variants.

Brazilian side Campinense Clube have officially unveiled their new 26-27 away and special edition kits, representing the club's first releases produced by their new technical sponsor, Start Esporte. The local sportswear brand takes over from previous kit supplier Lance, also assuming operations of the club's official retail store as Campinense gear up for the Copa Paraíba and the 2027 state championship.

The new Campinense 26-27 away jersey introduces a clean look, featuring a predominantly white base contrasted by a traditional horizontal red and black chest band that houses the club crest and brand logo. The crew-neck collar and sleeve cuffs mirror the club's rubro-negro colors with split red and black accents. The away uniform is completed with matching white shorts and socks.

Alongside the away shirt, Start Esporte launched an exclusive "All Black" special kit created specifically for the Copa Paraíba 2026 campaign. The darkened shirt features subtle alternating horizontal hoops in black and deep charcoal gray, topped by a neat polo collar with red inner detailing and vivid red branding on the chest. A new traditional red-and-black striped home shirt from Start is slated to follow in early 2027 ahead of the Campeonato Paraibano.

Middlesbrough 150th Anniversary Commemorative Kit Font Revealed

Middlesbrough FC debuted a bespoke font on their special 150th anniversary commemorative kit during their match against Wolves at the Riverside Stadium. Lettering and numbers specialist ID Unlimited provided the custom typeface for the occasion, designed specifically to match the limited-edition navy blue jersey crafted by Castore.

The commemorative font features an elegant gold finish that coordinates with the special 150th anniversary club crest and brand details. The numbers adopt a distinct inline double-contour structure with curved, retro-inspired geometry, while the player names are arched across the upper back in clean, refined typography. The look reinforces the heritage theme of the kit, which references Middlesbrough's founding in 1876 when players wore blue cricket whites before the club eventually adopted its traditional red.

The special nameset was worn exclusively for the anniversary celebration fixture and will not feature on the club's regular 26-27 league shirts, giving the rare commemorative jersey an even more distinct collector feel.

Cracovia 26-27 Third Kit Release - Honoring Pope John Paul II

Cracovia and Puma have officially unveiled a special 26-27 third kit dedicated to the memory of Pope...

Cracovia and Puma have officially unveiled a special 26-27 third kit dedicated to the memory of Pope John Paul II, one of the club's most famous and devoted lifelong supporters. The bespoke jersey will be worn exclusively during Cracovia's Ekstraklasa match against Legia Warsaw on October 17, timed around the anniversary of Karol Wojtyła's election to the papacy on October 16.

The shirt is rendered in a light blue base adorned with tonal vertical stripes and fine white pinstripes. The color takes direct inspiration from the waters of the Zakrzówek quarry in Kraków, where Wojtyła worked as a laborer during the Second World War between 1940 and 1941, while also nodding to the traditional civic colors of Kraków. It is framed with a classic white buttoned collar, retro striped cuffs, and an embroidered heritage club crest on the chest.

Several bespoke elements complete the tribute, including the inscription "Ojcze Święty, pamięta Cię Twoja Cracovia" (Holy Father, your Cracovia remembers you) positioned on the upper back neck. Player personalizations showcase the club's retired number 1, a digit permanently set aside for the Pope following Cracovia's historic Vatican audience in 2005, which is subtly patterned with repeating numeral graphics. The limited-edition jersey is now available through the club's official store.
