Kit Deal Cancelled: Sheffield Wednesday to Leave Macron for Umbro

Under the new ownership of US consortium Arise Capital Partners, the Owls have reportedly terminated their existing kit deal with Macron. Umbro to Make Sheffield Wednesday 26-27 Kits

Following the cancellation of the Macron deal, the Sheffield Star reports that Umbro is heavily favored to become Sheffield Wednesday's new kit manufacturer. This switch would represent a significant and nostalgic reunion for the club and the Double Diamond brand. Umbro previously supplied the Owls' kits during a highly successful period from 1984 until 1993, an era that most notably included the famous 1991 League Cup victory and produced some of the most iconic shirts in the club's extensive history.
