Icelandic club Víkingur Reykjavík have launched a special limited-edition 2026 charity kit, produced by technical sponsor Macron in collaboration with renowned Icelandic outdoor brand 66°Norður. All proceeds from jersey sales will directly support the club's longtime goalkeeper, Ingvar Jónsson, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. In support of the initiative, the club's sponsors generously donated their usual advertising space on the shirt.
Designed by Bergur Guðnason of 66°Norður, the long-sleeve jersey is presented in a muted off-white and sepia palette patterned with fine navigational grid lines. The lower front and sleeves display a historic photographic print of Víkingur's 1921 squad, commemorating the club's first national championship era and their voyage to the Westfjords. On the chest, a dual-branded 66° shield replaces the standard club crest alongside an orange Macron Hero logo.
The maritime theme continues across the back, featuring a map of Iceland with navigational coordinates and a highlighted 66°N latitude line rendered in hazard orange, referencing 66°Norður's rich maritime safety heritage. The limited-edition jersey was released on October 22 through Víkingur's official online store.
