Sunderland 2026 Remembrance Day Shirt Released
, by Phan Tich Giay
Sunderland AFC and kit manufacturer hummel have officially launched a special limited-edition shirt to commemorate Remembrance Day and celebrate the club's annual Heroes' Week.
The long-sleeved jersey is deeply rooted in local heritage, taking inspiration from the Sunderland War Memorial located in Mowbray Park. Built on a clean white base, the design incorporates repeating red silhouettes of the monument and the crowning Angel of Victory statue, creating a vertical striped effect across the body and sleeves. Both the Sunderland crest and the hummel logo sit centrally on the chest, while the inscription "A Tribute to Our Glorious Dead" is placed just beneath the collar on the upper back, directly mirroring the text carved into the cenotaph.
Captured on location at Mowbray Park alongside local service personnel for the launch, the hummel Sunderland 2026 Remembrance shirt is available now both in-store and online at the official club store for £55.
