The new Jako Mainz 05 26-27 third kit features a dark anthracite grey primary base color. This slate-colored base is contrasted by sandstone (soft peach-pink) accents applied across the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs, Jako shoulder dots, sponsor, and a monochromatic Mainz 05 crest.
The choice of colors directly reflects the historic city center: the anthracite tone evokes the iconic slate roofs of the inner city, most notably the roof of the famous Mainz Cathedral, while the sandstone details honor the characteristic masonry of the local architecture.
Across both the front and back, the FSV Mainz 05 26-27 third jersey incorporates a subtle geometric polygonal pattern woven into the fabric, providing a modern 3D texture.
The traditional Mainz coat of arms (Stadtwappen) is printed on the upper back of the neck.
