Fan-Designed: Puma Independiente 26-27 'Camiseta del Hincha' Released

Puma and Argentine giants Club Atlético Independiente have officially launched a unique special edition jersey, dubbed the 'Camiseta del Hincha'. The kit is the result of a creative initiative launched on the club's Fan's Day earlier this year, where 26 supporters were invited to Puma Argentina's headquarters to co-design shirt concepts based on the institution's history and archive symbols. Following a nationwide vote among four finalist designs, the 'Todo Rojo' concept emerged as the clear winner.
The shirt adopts an unmistakable retro aesthetic heavily influenced by the club's glory days in the 1970s. Set on a vivid red base, it incorporates a classic white polo collar with a matching V-neck insert and thick white sleeve cuffs. The traditional club crest is replaced on the chest by a heritage circular CAI monogram badge featuring textured detailing, while the slogan 'La Ciudad de Independiente' is neatly inscribed across the inside of the collar.
Set to be paired with dark navy shorts and red socks, the kit makes its on-pitch debut in domestic competition against Deportivo Riestra. Alongside the outfield jersey, Puma also produced an eye-catching gold goalkeeper variant with black trim. The special fan-designed edition is now available via Puma retail channels and the official Independiente club store.
