- Comprehensive Brand Identity Revealed: Beyond the primary crest, Newcastle United's rebrand introduces a full visual system encompassing secondary marks, iconography, and custom typography for diverse platforms and merchandise.
- Castle Silhouette as Core Secondary Element: A castle silhouette, drawn from the historic city coat of arms, serves as the central element for the secondary branding, appearing in various badges and standalone icons.
- Strategic Application of Brand Assets: The primary crest will be phased into stadium signage and digital media, while secondary logos and standalone castle marks are designed for extensive use on casual wear, lifestyle collections, and official merchandise, with potential future use on match kits.
Following the official unveiling of Newcastle United's refreshed club crest, the wider brand identity lineup has now been revealed. Beyond the refined primary crest chosen by nearly 65% of supporters (but there was not really a choice...), the complete visual system introduces a versatile suite of secondary marks, iconography, and custom typography tailored for digital platforms and club merchandise.
Newcastle United Brand Identity Lineup
At the heart of the secondary branding is the castle silhouette, drawn directly from the historic city coat of arms and the club's namesake.
Alongside the updated full-colour and monochrome primary crests, the lineup features a circular roundel badge enclosing a solid castle symbol with the text Newcastle United Football Club. Completing the identity system are standalone castle icons, lockups paired with the club name, and a bespoke typeface created specifically for Newcastle's modern era.
While the primary crest will gradually roll out across stadium signage, broadcast graphics, and digital media before arriving on the playing kits for the 27-28 season, these secondary logos and standalone castle marks will be heavily utilized across casual wear, lifestyle collections, and official merchandise. We might also see them on match kits.

After two years, the reigning South American Champions badge officially makes its return to the Albiceleste jersey, following the end of Argentina’s reign as world champions.
The badge last appeared during 2024 Copa América. Since then, despite holding both Copa América and World Cup titles, Argentina consistently gave priority to the World Cup badge.
