Ahead of kick-off, the Curva Nord unfurled a prominent banner across the stand reading: "La maglia del Parma simbolo di passione, amore e gloria, rispettate la nostra storia" (The Parma shirt is a symbol of passion, love, and glory, respect our history). Above the banner, fans displayed several classic Parma shirts honoring the club's iconic black cross and gialloblu stripes, directly contrasting them with a large graphic of the new black-and-pink third jersey stamped with an emphatic red X.
The demonstration was echoed across supporter groups with the clear message that "this shirt does not belong to us."
