The Greuther Fürth 1926 anniversary kit has been officially released, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the club's second German championship.
On 13 June 1926, the Spielvereinigung defeated Hertha BSC 4-1 in Frankfurt in one of the best finals in German football history - and to honor the heroes of that day, the legendary shirt returns as a limited-edition Greuther Fürth 1926 anniversary kit.
Greuther Fürth 1926-2026 Anniversary Kit
The Greuther Fürth 1926-2026 anniversary kit features the iconic blue and black vertical stripes that the Kleeblatt wore in all three of their victorious championship finals in 1914, 1926 and 1929.

Interestingly, blue and black are not the traditional colors of Greuther Fürth, whose kit consisted of a white shirt, black shorts and black socks for the first 70 years of the club's existence. The explanation is simple: in all three championship final rounds, Fürth were drawn in the second half of the bracket, meaning their opponents had formal home rights and wore their white primary kits - so the Spielvereinigung played in their alternative shirt, the legendary blue and black striped jersey.
The Greuther Fürth 1926 anniversary kit pays tribute to this history with a larger white and green Kleeblatt logo on the chest, the inscription "100 Jahre Deutsche Meisterschaft" with the championship pennant on the upper back, the golden names of the players and coach William Townley on the lower right front, and the years 1914, 1926 and 1929 on the left.
The Greuther Fürth 1926 anniversary kit will be available in a limited edition from Saturday, 13 June, at 10am - initially exclusively at the Sportheim, with remaining stock hitting the online shop from 4pm. It is priced at €89.95 for adults and €69.95 for kids.
