Nike Mercurial Vapor XV 15th Years Anniversary Boot Released
Nike today released the Nike Mercurial Vapor XV 15th Years Anniversary Boot, which is inspired by the iconic first Nike Mercurial boot worn by Ronaldo in 1998. The boot uses an almost identical design as the original Nike Mercurial, with the main difference being the use of volt instead of yellow for a more modern look. The laces are yellow and the black parts were replaced by a silver color, too. The Nike Mercurial Vapor XV 15th Years Anniversary Boot uses the same sole plate as the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX boots.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor IX 15th Years Anniversary Boot is limited to 1998 pairs and will be available at selected retailers from May 8.
Nike Mercurial 15th years Anniversary
Nike released their first Mercurial Boot 15 years ago in 1998 called Nike Air Mercurial Boots. The first Nike Mercurial R9 Boot Colorway came in Blackout, but at the FIFA World Cup 1998 Ronaldo played in a Silver / Blue / Yellow Mercurial Boot. This year Nike celebrates the 15th years anniversary from 1998 to 2013 of the Mercurial series, which was the first Boot developed for maximum speed and made from synthetic materials.

FC Luzern 125th Anniversary 26-27 Home Kit Released
FC Luzern have unveiled their new 2026-27 home kit, debuting it in the final home game against FC Zürich. Made by Erreà, the new shirt replaces the traditional white details with gold elements, giving the kit a darker and more elegant appearance for the club’s 125th anniversary season.
The new FC Luzern home shirt features a deep navy base combined with gold logos, names and numbers, while subtle ornamental graphics inspired by the Rathaussteg bridge connect the design to the city of Lucerne. A special anniversary crest can also be added to the sleeve.
The red sponsor logo breaks up the design - the Luzern Women team kit comes with a much nicer gold sponsor.
The move away from white is a temporary one, with the club stressing that blue and white remain the official colours of FC Luzern.
