Nike is unveiling new September 2014 colorways for all four silos this week and it's expected the new colors for the Nike Hypervenom, Magista, Mercurial and Tiempo will be worn by many of Nike's famous testimonials in the CL matches already.

As in most club competitions and the 2014 World Cup, Nike supplies football boots for most players in the 14-15 Champions League, sponsoring more than 45% of the players. Adidas comes in second as expected, with Puma in third place.

Puma has bigger share of players in the Champions League than usual, mostly thanks to their shirt & boot sponsorship deal with Swedish team Malmö FF. Puma supplies more than 85% of the club's players.

The smaller teams generally offer the more diverse boot lineups as usually not that many of their players are signed to the big three.
