May 2015 is set to be the most important month for football boots and kits this year as Adidas and Nike are set to reveal various new 2015-16 Kits and totally new boots. We take a detailed look at the biggest launches in May 2015.
May 2015 will see the release of the much-awaited Nike Hypervenom 2 Cleats, the totally new Adidas 2015-2016 Boots Collection as well as the first bunch of new 2015-16 Soccer Jerseys. Here are the five biggest releases in May 2015.
Nike Hypervenom II Boots
This is the leaked Nike Hypervenom 2 2015-2016 Soccer Cleat.
Two years after Nike launched the totally new Nike Hypervenom Football Boots, Nike is set to reveal the next-generation of the Nike Hypervenom Cleats at the end of May. The new Nike Hypervenom 2 Boots are set to be debuted in the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final on June 6.
The new Nike Hypervenom II 2015-2016 Soccer Boots introduce the Dynamic Fit collar to the agility boot, combined with a ultra-soft NikeSkin upper. Just like two years ago, the Nike Hypervenom 2 Cleats are expected to be launched by FC Barcelona and Brazil superstar Neymar, who already trained in a black-out Prototype Nike Hypervenom II Boot in early January 2015.
Nike Wolf Grey Football Boots Collection
The first Nike Summer 2015 Soccer Boots Collection combines the understated main color grey with electric colors to stand out on the pitch. The new Nike Wolf Pack Boots Collection is expected to debut in the UEFA Champions League, and will be the tournament boot collection for the 2015 Copa America.
The Fans' Favorite Boot of the Wolf Grey Nike 2015 Cleats Collection is definitely the grey / blue Nike Magista Obra Boot, closely followed by the grey / pink Nike Mercurial Superfly Cleat.
Adidas Ace Boots

It's do or die for Adidas. Adidas will discontinue all of their four current boot silos (Adidas F50 Adizero, Adidas Adipure, Adidas Nitrocharge and Adidas Predator) and will release two totally new boot silos, and the Messi exclusive Adidas Messi 15.1 2015-2016 Cleats. The new Adidas 2015-2016 Boots are set to be revealed ahead of the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final.
Engineered for control, the Adidas Ace Cleat is kind of a successor for the iconic Adidas Predator Boot. The new Adidas Ace 2015-2016 Boots introduce a totally new outsole and a honeycomb upper structure for ultimate control. Adidas will also reveal a leather version of the all-new Adidas Ace 2015-2016 Cleats.
Adidas X Boots
This is the Solar Yellow Adidas X / Adidas Chaos Cleat.

The new Adidas X Boots are also known as the new Adidas Chaos Boot. Made for players who shatter expectations, the new Adidas X 15.1 Soccer Boots feature a similar silhouette as the Adidas F50 Adizero Boots.
Players such as Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema and Angel di Maria will headline the new Adidas X Cleats, which will be launched with a Solar Yellow colorway.
Lionel Messi will the only football player to receive his own boot silo. The new Adidas Messi 2015-16 Boots feature a unique design with a stunning sole plate construction. Adidas is hoping that Messi will be able to debut his brand-new boots in the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final, provided that Barcelona will reach the Champions League final.
2015-2016 Kits
Various 15-16 Kits were already leaked in the past few weeks.
Even though the first 2015-16 Kits were already revealed in April, most of the new 15-16 Football Shirts will be revealed from May 2015.
AC Milan is reported to kick-off this year's peak phase of 2015-16 Kit launches with the new Adidas AC Milan 2015-16 Third Kit, which draws inspiration from Expo 2015. Traditionally, FC Bayern Munich will reveal the new Adidas Bayern München Home Kit ahead of the last Bundesliga home match in mid-May 2015, while teams such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Schalke will also reveal their new 2015-16 shirts.
FC Barcelona will unveil the revolutionary Barcelona 2015-16 Home Kit, which will feature horizontal stripes for the first time in the history of the club.

Italian Serie C side Savoia 1908 have announced Nike as their new technical sponsor and subsequently revealed their new kits for the 2026-27 season.
The new Savoia 1908 26-27 shirts are based on Nike teamwear templates, customized with the club's crest and sponsor logos. The club released four different player kits, including two white home options.
Portadown FC 2026-27 Away Kit Released
Northern Ireland Football League Premiership club Portadown FC have officially unveiled their new 2026-27 away kit, manufactured by Adidas. Following the launch of their new home kit just days earlier, the black away strip draws direct inspiration from the old club crest that was used by the team between 1995 and 2016.

SCR Altach 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released
Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach has officially unveiled its new 2026-27 home and away kits, made by Jako. The home kit was introduced earlier this week, while the away option has just been presented to the fans.
The Jako SCR Altach 26-27 home shirt continues the club's tradition with a clean white base, elevated by a meaningful subtle detail. The front of the jersey features the city's postcode, 6844, debossed throughout the fabric. This number is also embroidered on the back of the collar, placed just above the Altach municipal coat of arms.
For the Jako SCR Altach 26-27 away shirt, the club opts for a dark aesthetic consisting of black and anthracite vertical stripes. This elegant design is complemented by a special embroidery on the back of the neck, highlighting the club's founding year, 1929. Indonesian kit collector @tmdch shared that he spotted Como's new 2026-27 home kit, which has not yet been officially released, while shopping at a local football shirt store.
