Zlatan Refusing Nike? Ibrahimovic Trains in Blackout Boots

Pre-season is often the time for players to test boots from different brands to determine their boots for the upcoming campaign, and to showcase that they are still without a contract. Now it's once again Zlatan Ibrahimovic who laced up in blackout boots during PSG's first pre-season training session.

In the past weeks, various players including Samir Nasri and Thomas Müller were spotted wearing unbranded black-out boots, which is an indication that a player is bent on a new boots contract.

The unbranded Zlatan Ibrahimović 2015-2016 Boots are a very likely a black-out version of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots, while some believe that it's even possible that Zlatan Ibrahimović is the first player to wear blackout Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 Prototype Boots (via @MF_Tony). The new black Zlatan Ibrahimović Cleats feature a tongue-less design, while no modifications are visible.

One month ago, it was reported that Nike and Zlatan Ibrahimović signed a new four-year Nike sponsorship deal worth up to 2.5m per year. If one may believe the rumors, it's very likely that Zlatan Ibrahimović just laced up in blackout boots but will switch to the new colorway Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots soon.

The Swedish striker also trained in Nike running shoes during various PSG training sessions, and in the Wolf Grey Nike Mercurial Boots. So we think that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will soon switch to the bold pink Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots, part of the totally new Nike Lightning Storm Boot Collection.

Will Zlatan Ibrahimović switch to the Hyper Pink Nike Mercurial Boots, or will he leave Nike once again? The Zlatan Ibrahimović boot saga continues.
