Adnan Januzaj Scores First Goal Since April 2014 Wearing Nike Mercurial Academy Pack Boots
Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj stood out in yesterday's Premier League match wearing the Nike Mercurial Vapor X Academy Pack Football Boots. Januzaj is one of the first players to wear the stunning Nike Academy Pack Boots.
Adnan Januzaj maintained Man Utd's unbeaten league run at Villa Park to 20 years scoring the only goal to settle an uneventful game. But it were Adnan Januzaj's blacked-out boots that were the real highlight of the game.
Adnan Januzaj Wears Blackout Nike Mercurial Cleats in First 2015-16 Premier League Match
Close-up picture of Januzaj's blackout boots.
Adnan Januzaj's blackout boots are in fact Nike Mercurial Vapor X Academy Pack Boots featuring a tongue-less design and striking Volt studs. Made for speed, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Boots compete with the Adidas X, Puma evoSPEED, Under Armour Speedform, Mizuno Basara and the New Balance Furon Cleats, and Adnan Januzaj should actually wear the New Balance Furon Football Boots.
The Belgian midfielder already laced up in the blackout Nike Mercurial Vapor 10Cleats in Man Utd's pre-season friendlies. However, it's rather usual that players wear unbranded blackout cleats during pre-season, while the usually switch to branded boots in the first important matches of the season.
New Balance and Adnan Januzaj launched the New Balance Furon Boots two months ago, but the Belgian teenager never wore New Balance's speed boots after he laced up in whiteout Warrior Superheat Boots last season.
I'm sure New Balance are chuffed with Januzaj wearing blacked out boots 🙈🙈
— Neale McDermott (@nealemac8) August 14, 2015In fact, no New Balance player who is intended to wear the New Balance Furon Boots is actually wearing them - (Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas and Adnan Januzaj). So it's likely that Adnan Januzaj is still under contract with New Balance.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Adnan Januzaj Cleats feature a stealth look, and looked classy with Manchester United's 2015-16 Away Kit.
Maybe it's because I'm a traditionalist....but nice to see Januzaj in a black pair of boots! #mufc

This vibrant new release marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the club and the Brazilian sportswear brand, celebrating a decade and a half of continuous collaboration.
Most notably, the club has confirmed that this commemorative shirt will serve as the final kit produced by Penalty for Shonan Bellmare, bringing an end to one of the most recognizable and long-running technical sponsorships in modern Japanese domestic football.
The Shonan Bellmare 15th Season Commemorative shirt features a mashup design, merging the look of the past 15 kits in one shirt. The result is a highly complex and striking graphic design set against the team's traditional bright lime green base.
