In early 2016, Adidas will launch the next-generation of the Adidas Ace Primeknit Football Boots. Combining a sock-like collar with a knitted Primeknit upper, the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Cleats are the best version of the knitted Adidas Ace range, whereas the Adidas Ace 16.2 Boot is the second-best model.
Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Black / Matte Silver / Solar Gold
This is the second colorway of the totally new Adidas Ace 2016 Primeknit Boots.
While the Solar Green and Shock Pink launch colorway of the Adidas Ace Primemesh Boots is anything but an instant classic, the mainly black Adidas Ace 2016 Primemesh Boots Colorway is set to prove popular with players. Adidas combines the black upper with the colors 'Matte Silver' and 'Solar Gold' for the big Three Stripes, which boast a stunning color-gradient design to create the most remarkable element of the next-gen Ace.
The sole plate of the second colorway of the Adidas Ace 2016 Primemesh Cleats is mainly black, while the front part features a unique yellow triangular graphic pattern.
Performance-wise, it's logical that the second paint job of the Adidas Ace Primemesh Soccer Boots offers the same technologies as the Solar Green launch colorway. The Adidas Ace Primemesh 16.2 Boot features a knitted Primemesh upper in the touch and middle area, while the heel area uses a stiffer synthetic material for more stability. Adidas combines the knitted upper with a techfit collar that is seamlessly connected to the tongue
The totally new outsole of the Adidas Primemesh 16.2 Boots comes with an external heel counter and 10 conical studs with a traditional studs configuration.
The Black / Matte Silver / Solar Gold Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Boots retail at a price of 130 Euro (115 GBP, 130 USD) and will be available as FG (Firm Ground) version from early February 2016.

Union Berlin 26-27 Home Kit to Be Released June 8
German newspaper BILD has confirmed our leak of the Adidas 1. FC Union Berlin home kit for the 2026-27 season. The design shifts from the prior red and white striped look to a predominantly red shirt with white accents on the collar and shoulders. An embossed geometric pattern across the front and sleeves directly references the steel roof structure of Stadion An der Alten Försterei as a tribute to the club's historic ground. Sponsors Adidas, Raisin and Kermi remain unchanged from the previous season.
The kit will be officially unveiled on June 8, an earlier date chosen to avoid the FIFA World Cup window running from June 11 to July 19.
