Totally New Adidas Ace Primemesh 2016 Boots Released
Introducing the Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Football Boots. The Adidas Ace 2016 Primemesh Soccer Boots are the first take-down model of the new Adidas Ace 16 Primeknit line and were released on January 25, 2016.
In early 2016, Adidas launched the completely new Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Soccer Boot featuring a knitted Primeknit upper. And while the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Boots are the best version of the boots, the Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Cleats are the new lower-tier model of the knitted Adidas Ace boot range.
Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Solar Green / Shock Pink / Black
This is the Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh launch colorway.
Boasting the same design as the Solar Green Adidas Ace 16.1 Boots, the launch colorway of the Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Soccer Boots combines the main color green with striking pink and black applications. To make a bold statement on the pitch, the Adidas Ace Primemesh Boots feature bold Three Stripes. But what's definitely more interesting about the Adidas Ace Primemesh Boot are the tech details.
Made for players who control the game, the Adidas Ace Primemesh Soccer Boots feature an entirely new knitted Primemesh upper. Offering similar features as the well-known Adidas Primeknit material, the Primemesh material is used for the middle and forefoot area of the boots, whereas the heel is made from a stiffer synthetic material for more stability. Compared to the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Boot, the Primemesh material is not as thin and flexible as the cutting-edge Primeknit.
Like the Adidas Ace 16.1 Primeknit Cleats, the Adidas Ace 2016 Primemesh Football Boot features a sock-like collar that is seamlessly connected to the tongue, allowing Adidas to ditch the traditional concept of a tongue. Similar to previous Adidas Primeknit cleat releases, a thin, translucent synthetic layer is added on top of the knit in the forefoot and heel areas for increased durability.
While the upper of the Adidas Ace Primeknit and Primemesh Boots are quite similar, the outsole of both boots is exactly the same. The sole plate of the Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Boots comes with an external heel counter for more stability while featuring 10 large conical studs for rotational traction on Firm Ground surfaces.
The Solar Green / Shock Pink / Black Adidas Ace 16.2 Primemesh Boot is only about half as expensive (130 Euro, 115 GBP, 130 USD) as the Adidas Ace Primeknit (250 Euro, 225 GBP , 250 USD) and are only available as FG version.
Yet another all-new Adidas boot silo. Will you get your hands on the knitted Adidas Ace 2016 Primemesh Boots, which are much cheaper than all knitted Nike Boots? Let us know in the comments below.

Special Commemorative Patches for 1000th FIFA World Cup Match
To mark a significant milestone in football history, special commemorative patches were featured during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group F match between Tunisia and Japan in Monterrey. The fixture officially marked the 1000th match in the history of the tournament.
In recognition of the occasion, both the Japan and Tunisia national teams wore mini Match 1000 arm patches on their jerseys. The special detailing was spotted on the players' kits during the game, as well as on the shirts laid out in the dressing rooms beforehand.
The commemorative design was not limited to the competing teams, as the match officials also wore the Match 1000 patch on their referee kits. This subtle yet historic addition provided a unique touch to the kits for the milestone game.
