Nike Free Trainer Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira Shoes Revealed
The latest colorway of the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 CR7 Shoes reflects the volcanic island of Madeira that Cristiano Ronaldo called home with a unique lava-inspired graphic pattern on the inner sole and a black and red pattern on the tongue.
The new Nike Free Trainer 3.0 CR7 Madeira Shoes draw inspiration from the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo 'Savage Beauty' Soccer Boots, which boast a spectacular lava upper graphic pattern.
Nike Free Trainer 3.0 Madeira Black / White / Crimson
This is the new Nike Free Trainer 3.0 Madeira shoe.
Whereas the Nike Mercurial Superfly Soccer Cleats feature a lava-inspired print on the upper, the Nike Free CR7 3.0 Trainers come with a rather understated design that combines the colors black, white and red. On the tongue is a triangular graphic pattern that reflects the island's volcanic geography, while the CR7 branding can be found on the tongue and the heel area of the shoes. But the most striking element of the shoes is hidden in the inner part of the shoe.
Inspired by the bold print of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Football Boots, the lava graphic of the cleats is printed on the inner sole of the shoe instead of the upper to create a more understated look than the football version while showing where the origins of the shoes are from.
Tech-wise, the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 Madeira is built for speed in any directions featuring a circular knit upper that "keeps Ronaldo's foot locked onto the platform while providing the flexibility he needs for explosive cuts and side-to-side shuffles." The Nike Free Trainer 3.0 Madeira comes with a low-profile Nike Free midsole and is designed for training on and off the pitch.
The all-new Nike Free Trainer CR7 Madeira will be available for a retail price of 120 USD in Western Europe from November 5, while the shoes will hit stores in North America and Japan on November 20.
Quite understated. What do you think of the Nike Free Trainer 3.0 CR7 Madeira Shoes? Let us know in the comments below, and also check out the bold Black / Gold Nike Free Trainer Cristiano Ronaldo "Ballon d'Or" Shoes.
