Leaked: Arsenal 16-17 Away Kit to Be Yellow and Grey

Exclusive. The new Arsenal away kit will be yellow and grey, echoing the style of the iconic Arsenal 05-06 away jersey, one of our favorite ten Arsenal kits during the club's time with Nike.

Arsenal 16-17 Away Kit

This image shows the colors of the Arsenal 2016-17 away jersey, made by Puma.

Set to be launched in July, during or after the 2016 European championship in France, the Arsenal 2016-2017 will combine a traditional yellow with dark grey details. Whereas the main color is officially labeled Spectra Yellow, Ebony is used for the accents, such as the Puma and Emirates logos on the front.

All in all, the overall look of the Arsenal away kit will resemble that of once of the most iconic Arsenal change shirts of the 2000s, the 2005-06 Arsenal away jersey. Although the shirt which combined yellow and dark grey was used in the lost 2006 Champions League final, it proved a nice modern take on Arsenal's most traditional away kit look of yellow and blue.

Boasting a strongly color-blocking design, the Arsenal 16-17 away kit will be rounded off with grey shorts and yellow socks, both with trim in the respective other tint.

The Puma Arsenal 16-17 kit set will be completed with a red-and-white home shirt and the -so far unknown- Arsenal 16-17 third kit.
