Nike Extends Premier League Deal

Nike and Premier League today announced that they have renewed their partnership until at least 2019. The new agreement allows Nike to produce the Official Match Ball of the Premier League for at least three further seasons.

Nike has been an official sponsor of the Premier League since 2000-01 and has already released a range of various unique balls for the world's most popular football league.

The new Premier League deal allows Nike to produce the official match ball from 2016-17 to 2018-19 seasons. No further contract details were disclosed yet.

"We have an excellent partnership with Nike and are very pleased that it will continue for at least the next three seasons," said Richard Masters, the Premier League Managing Director. "As the leading global sports brand they are an excellent fit for the Premier League. Nike's commitment to the League, and that of our other commercial partners, is very important in helping us continue to put on a high quality football competition which is enjoyed by fans in the UK and around the world."

It was also announced that the new agreement will include Nike support for the Premier League Players' Kit Scheme from next season. Kit Scheme is a program founded by Premier League that has already supplied 4,200+ schools and local teams with kits.
