New 2017 Confederations Cup Logo Revealed
This is the new FIFA Confederations Cup logo for next year's tournament.
Drawing inspiration from the shape of the Confed Cup trophy, the new FIFA 2017 Confederations Cup logo boasts a similar design as the 2018 World Cup logo that was already revealed in October 2014. The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup also uses the custom typeface that was created for the visual identity for the World Cup.
"The Official Emblem and look of the tournament were inspired by Russia's rich culture and storytelling tradition. The shape of the trophy inspired the design of the emblem which is brought to life by the mythological firebird, its main character," said FIFA Marketing Director Thierry Weil.
Inspiring the flow of the Official Emblem, the firebird's long tail feathers wrap around the lower section of the emblem while its head, wings and body feature in the spherical top of the shape. "The brand celebrates all of the best qualities of the beautiful game and will enhance not only the tournament, but also the experiences of all who take part," Weil went on to add.

Nike and Kids of Immigrants Goalkeeper Jersey + Total 90 Shoes Released
Nike and streetwear label Kids of Immigrants have officially unveiled a comprehensive collaborative capsule collection. This wider release expands significantly upon the retro football aesthetic, offering a full range of apparel, accessories, and highly unique modified footwear.
The undeniable centerpiece of the expanded collection is the introduction of two bespoke slip-on mules, which draw heavy inspiration from the iconic Nike Total 90 football boot. The mules arrive in two distinct colorways: a muted beige and olive green iteration featuring a speckled sole, alongside a darker, glossy black and rich brown patent leather version. Both pairs are unified by a striking red and yellow outlined Swoosh on the midfoot and tongue, matching the vibrant accents found on the collection's primary jersey.
Rounding out the collaborative effort is a selection of matching apparel and accessories designed to complete the capsule. The standout piece of these other items is a special 1990s keeper kit.
