Shortly after Manchester United unveiled a new trailer for the Deadpool movie, dubbed "Manchester United Dream", several people contacted us regarding a Manchester United logo that was shown at the beginning of it. Could it be that the club was teasing a logo redesign?

The logo appears to show a slight redesign of the current Manchester United logo that mostly simplifies the outer shape and alters the font to a modern and bold type.
We can reveal, via ManUtd.ru, that the Manchester United logo shown in the Deadpool trailer is not the real deal, and instead just a design contest entry from a few years ago. Made by a user named gromovnik, it won first place in the competition on DesignCrowd.
