Closer Look: Derlis González' Custom Nike Mercurial Vapor Boots
Paraguayan artist Lili Cantero, creator of Derlis González' spectacular Paraguay-inspired Nike Mercurial Vapor boots, has posted several images showing details of the stunning design. Thanks to all of you who made us aware of these images, on Instagram and elsewhere.
Debuted by Paraguay's Derlis González in the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Brazil earlier this week, the Nike Mercurial Vapor X cleats were hand-painted by Cantero, who added a stunning graphic inspired by Paraguay. It features the Paraguayan flag, as well as "our culture and our strength". Derlis González' name and shirt number are written on the lateral site.
