Miralles was spotted wearing New Balance Furon boots in Everton's pre-season friendlies after he had worn Nike Mercurial cleats last season. Interestingly, the former Belgian international was spotted just two months ago wearing blacked-out next-gen Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 boots ahead of the official launch of the speed boots.

The fact that Miralles's New Balance boots were not blacked out, and that he was spotted wearing them in all of his club's training sessions and friendlies since the start of pre-season, suggests that the Mirallas's switch from Nike to New Balance is all but confirmed
