Luis Suárez Trains in Blackout Adidas X Boots

Returning for pre-season training at Barcelona, Luis Suárez was spotted wearing a set of blackout boots he had already sported during training in March, leading up to their eventual release at the end of that month.

Designed to offer a lighter construction compared to the regular Adidas X 15.1 soccer cleats, the X 15+ SL boots saw only that one colorway release in March. As Suárez was also wearing the more recently released Adidas X 16.1 from the Speed of Light Pack, the most likely explanation is that the Uruguayan striker is just more comfortable with the 'old' boots and is still in the process of breaking in the new ones.
