Suarez Continues to Train in Blackout Adidas Prototype Boots

Update 07/03/2016: Luis Suarez has again laced up in the unreleased Adidas X 15+ Skeleton Boots, which are set to be revealed at the end of March / early April.

Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez today became the second player to train in the uber-cool unreleased Adidas X 15+ Skeleton football boots. Thomas Müller was spotted wearing the exact same Adidas X Skeleton cleats last month.

Adidas will launch the all-new Adidas X 15 Skeleton soccer boots in early April with a bold 'White / Semi Solar Slime / Shock Blue' colorway. Interestingly, everything indicates that the first will also be the last-ever release of the Adidas X 15.1 Skeleton boots, with the second-generation Adidas X 16 boots slated for a late-May drop.

The boots worn by Luis Suarez in today's FC Barcelona training wear completely blacked-out, with only the extremely shiny X-Cage structure giving away their true identity. Set to be released in almost exactly one month's time, the new Adidas X 15+ Skeleton soccer boots offer a new take on the silhouette of the Adidas X 15.1 boots.

In order to reduce weight, the Adidas X 15.1 Skeleton cleats boast an all-new microfiber upper, while the heightened sockliner was also modified notably compared to the regular Adidas X.

Today's spot means that Luis Suarez, who already wore numerous Adidas special editions in the past, is likely to join Thomas Müller as part of the list of Adidas players to sport the upcoming Adidas X Skeleton boots. With the Champions League quarter finals taking place between April 5 and 13, these matches seem the most probable stage for the debut of the Adidas X Skeleton.
