Georginio Wijnaldum has opened speculation about a possible brand switch away from Adidas after he was spotted wearing unique custom blacked-out Adidas X 16 boots in training this week.

Wijnaldum laced up in custom blacked-out 'navy and red' Adidas X 16.1 leather cleats after having worn last-gen Adidas X boots in the first Premier League match.

Interestingly, Wijnaldum also wore the Adidas X 16.1 Darkspace blackout synthetic variant before he decided to black out his custom leather boots, while he was back in branded boots two days ago.
