New York City FC striker and former Spain international David Villa has made the switch from the Adidas X to the Adidas Ace in the last league match.

David Villa previously wore leather Adidas X 16.1 boots.

David Villa's Adidas Ace soccer cleat is the same as the standard version of the Solar Yellow knitted control boot. Combining a Primeknit upper with a high-ankle design, the Adidas Ace 16 Primeknit boots are oneof the most comfortable boots Adidas has to offer.

David Villa previously wore the Adidas X 16.1 Leather boot, while he was a face of the Adidas F50 Adizero before the Three Stripes discontinued their speed silo.
