Now Available | FC Barcelona's 16-17 Third Kit Will Not Be Sold Without Qatar Airways Sponsor

Update: The full kit is now available to buy on Nike and elsewhere. Bar some exceptions, the Barcelona third jersey is only sold including the Qatar Airways sponsor, as we correctly stated earlier. Read our initial post below.

Nike has announced that the new FC Barcelona 2016-17 third kit will not go on sale before November 1st. While the US-giant did not reveal why Barcelona's third strip goes on sale much later than the third uniforms of teams like Man City and AS Roma, there is logically a reason that causes this controversy.

Barcelona Third Kit Will Only Be Sold With Qatar Airways on the Front

Here is a sponsorless prototype version of the shirt - the kit will go on sale on November 1st with Qatar Airways on the front.

However, whereas Nike did not publish what the reason for Barcelona's stunning third jersey to go on sale on November 1st is, it is in fact that Nike does not want to sale a sponsorless version of the shirt as they did with the home and away kits (At the moment, both the sponsorless and the Qatar Airways-featuring Barcelona home and away shirts are available at Nike.com).
