Taking the pitch for the first 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Norway, Mario Götze laced up in the 'old' last-gen Nike Magista Obra boot instead of the next-gen Nike Magista Obra cleat from the Elite Pack that he is actually supposed to wear.

Although Mario Götze is the face of the second-gen Nike Magista Obra boots, the BVB midfielder and German international does not seem to like Nike's evolutionary second-gen Magista but laced up in the old first-gen Nike Magista football boots from the Spark Brilliance pack in the last two matches after he was previously spotted wearing the next-gen Nike Magista Obra 2 Elite Pack boots.
