Original article: October 2016 Recently, an avid follower made us aware of Leroy Sané's unique boots. And, while Leroy Sane was rumored to switch boot silos this Summer, Sané's modified football boots are based on the Nike's speed boot, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 5.

The interesting part of Sané's Mercurial Superfly V is definitely the Dynamic Fit collar, which he cut off to a 'mid-cut' design, just as other players have done previously. His collar features a similar height as the one from the Nike Mercurial Superfly V worn by Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, even though the latter one received his modified soccer cleats directly from Nike.

The sole plate and all other parts of the boot, however, are the same as those from the regular edition of the Nike Mercurial Superfly V Floodlight Pack boots.
