Update: Cristiano Ronaldo has debuted his new signature boots in the stadium where it all started, Sporting Lisbon's Alvalade.

More than two weeks after they were released, Cristiano Ronaldo will finally debut his new Nike Mercurial Superfly Chapter 3 - Discovery soccer boots. Fittingly, it will be in the same stadium of the 2003 friendly that inspired the boots and against Sporting, the team Ronaldo played for back then.

Inspired by the famous 2003 friendly during which Ronaldo, then at Sporting, ran circles around Manchester United's defense, the Mercurial Superfly boots worn by CR7 offer a modern take on Sporting's green jerseys. They fade from dark green at the back towards Nike's trademark 'Volt' on the inside front. Other than that, Ronaldo's Nike Mercurial Superfly V Chapter 3 boots are identical to the standard edition.
