Too Soon? Nike Puts Limited-Edition Hypervenom Rooney Boots On Sale
As we've been made aware of by a few people, the limited-edition Nike Hypervenom Phinish boots designed to celebrate Wayne Rooney becoming Manchester United all-time top goal scorer are available to buy only at Nike.
The whole thing looks like an error from Nike's side, both because Rooney is not yet the club's topscorer - he has 248 to Bobby Charlton's 249 - and because they simply where to not officially unveiled yet. It looks like this won't be the case until Rooney has hit 250 as that's the number mentioned on gold logo present both on the cleats and the bag that comes with it.
Either way, if you want to get your hands on a possibly rare item early, you can head to Nike.com now to grab yours. Please note that the boots are not available on all country sites (examples include Canada, Norway and South Africa), but Nike offers worldwide shipping anyway.

Schlotterbeck Deliberately Wears His Football Socks the Wrong Way Round
Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck has a very specific habit regarding his matchday attire. The centre-back deliberately wears his football socks the wrong way round - the back is on the front, and the front is on the back.
In 2025, the Borussia Dortmund & Germany center back once told SPORT1 that this was one of his unique habits.
