Special Black São Paulo Kit Released
São Paulo will play the last league wearing a black jersey to pay tribute to the victims of the Chapecoense plane crash.

São Paulo released this image of the black São Paulo 2016-2017 jersey.
The new black São Paulo comes with São Paulo's and Chapecoense's badges on the front, the lettering #ForçaChape on the front and the back as well as a special badge on the sleeves to honor the 71 victims of the Chapecoense plane disaster. The special black São Paulo 2016-2017 jersey comes without sponsor logos.
Additionally, each player will have the name of one of the victims of the plane crash on the back instead of his own one, while the club also released a special white goalkeeper kit.
The new São Paulo special kit will not go on sale.
