Wesley Sneijder Laces up in Cheap Nike Astro Turf Boots
Wesley Sneijder and Selcuk Inan have caught our attention today as they laced up in boots that are not designed to be worn by the best players on the pitch in today's Süper Lig clash between Osmanlıspor and Galatasaray.

Close-up with the boots worn by the two Galatasaray players.
Almost all players in today's Süper Lig match opted for AG (Artifical Grass) soccer cleats due to the frozen pitch in Ankara. Two players, Dutch superstar Wesley Sneijder and Turkey international decided to lace up in Astro Turf football shoes, designed for small-sided football. This usually would be nothing too special, but there was something else strange about their Nike Hypervenom soccer boots - they were not the best Astro Turf version (Nike HypervenomX Finale) but the second-tier Nike Hypervenom Phelon soccer shoes, which retail at just 75 Euro.
