DC United 2017 Away Kit Released

The DC United 2017 away jersey is made by Adidas, as always, and introduces a quite novel look for the club. Featuring leidos as sponsor, the DC United 2017 secondary kit was released today.

A very unique design all in all, the DC United 2017 away jersey features a truly outstanding front graphic that fades towards white at the bottom, inspired by the the eagle's wing's of the club's logo. It is predominantly grey with red sleeves and black cuffs and collar. White Adidas stripes sit on the shoulders of the new DC United away kit.

The neck line is embroidered with the words "District of Columbia," to signify the importance of being from Washington, D.C., with "D.C." in the name. At the bottom left of the jersey, the jock tag has been fashioned in the style of an authentic Washington, D.C., license plate. The iconic blue type coupled with the red D.C. flag in the center is instantly recognizable to any resident of the District. Along the bottom of the plat is the signature phrase, "Taxation Without Representation,".
