Special Valencia 2017 International Women's Day Kit Released

Spanish La Liga club Valencia CF will commemorate this year's International Women's Day (March 8th) by displaying the logo of UN Women on their kit in Sunday's game against Atletico Madrid. It is the first time in history that the UN Women logo is present in a Spanish Primera División fixture.

This is the one-off Valencia jersey to celebrate the 2017 International Women's Day.
Based on the regular sponsorless Adidas Valencia 16-17 away shirt, the special VCF kit for Sunday's clash against Atlético features the UN Women logo on the front and the '50/50 planet by 2030' equal opportunities campaign slogan on the sleeve. '50/50 planet by 2030' is a campaign for the fulfilment of the Sustainable Development Objectives for 2030, putting an emphasis on equal rights and opportunities for men and women.
Valencia have been a donating partner to the United Nations agency since 2015. Both entities share the message of pushing for equal rights and opportunities for men and women, and the eradication of domestic violence in all forms. The game will be the first in a series of matches in which VCF will display the logo on their kit.

Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
