Liverpool Ladies arrived at newly-promoted Yeovil Town Ladies without any kit this weekend as they forgot to pack it, according to a club official. It was the first match day of the 2017 WSL season and the first match in which Liverpool Ladies FC should don their first-ever shirt sponsor, Avon.

Liverpool Ladies FC Forget to Take Their Kit With New Shirt Sponsor

Liverpool Ladies FC were forced to use the away kit of their opponents.

The Reds, who just announced a new shirt sponsorship deal on Wednesday, lined up in the Lady Glovers' yellow away strip, which were also adorned with their opponents' names.

Liverpool is set to release their new 2017-18 kit this week, and it seems certain that Liverpool Ladies will don the new 2017-2018 kit in next weekend's match against Reading.

They left with all three points after a convincing 4-1 win to start their Women's Super League One Spring Series season.
