Because To Hide The Adidas Logo or To Fuel PSG Rumors? Neymar Posts Pensive Picture on Instagram

Neymar's decision to post a photo of himself in thoughtful contemplation sparked new speculation that he is on the verge of sealing a world record 222-million Euro move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain. But has he posted the image because of him thinking about moving to PSG or to hide the Adidas logo?

Why Posted Neymar The Pensive Instagram Picture?

Here is the picture that got people talking.

The Instagram picture shows the 25-year-old Brazilian superstar stretched out on the pitch and a matching emoji that also hides the Adidas logo of the Adidas X 17 boots from Luis Suarez.

It is most likely that Neymar both wanted to highlight that he is thinking about something (possibly the PSG transfer), with the secondary effect of perfectly hiding the Three Stripes branding. Pretty clever.

The picture garnered more than 1.5 million likes within 12 hours of it being posted in the United States where Barcelona are on a pre-season tour, with three of the 'likes' came from PSG players - Angel Di Maria, Kevin Trapp and Marco Verratti.

French newspaper Le Parisien fuelled speculation Friday with an unsourced report that Neymar had told several Barcelona teammates of his intentions to join PSG, adding that the transfer is considered a done deal by some Barcelona players.
