Former players such as Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado and Steven Gerrard laced up in really classy football boots in last weekend's Star Sixes six-a-side tournament.

Whereas his teammate Carles Puyol opted for a pair of the not-so-classy Nike TiempoX Proximo TF football boots from the Motion Blur pack, Michel Salgado wore the stunning limited-edition Adidas Copa 17.1 soccer cleats, featuring black Three Stripes and a classic fold-over tongue.

Interestingly, Míchel Salgado has only started wearing Adidas boots after he retired from professional football as he mostly wore Umbro soccer cleats during his career.

Steven Gerrard Opts For Adidas Predator Signature Boots

Only logically, Steven Gerrard opted for his stunning Adidas Predator signature boots Adidas released for his last match at Anfield more than two years ago.

Steven Gerrard and Míchel Salgado were not the only players lacing up in stylish / classic boots in the tournament, even though it's quite interesting to see how many retired footballers opt for the latest boots.
