73 Stars: Special Chapecoense 2017 International Tour Jersey Revealed

Brazilian team Chapecoense, having suffered a horrible plane crash last year, has unveiled a special jersey to be worn for the club's international friendly games this month and next.

Made by Umbro, this special Chapecoense shirt is set to be debuted in the club's outing against Barcelona for the Joan Gamper Trophy on Monday, August 7. It will also be used for the game against Urawa Red Diamonds on August 15 and a yet-to-be timed friendly against Roma in September.

The jersey is predominantly white with 73 green stars placed all over it, a nod to the club's founding year 1973. Previously, it was thought that there were 71 stars, in memory of those killed in last year's plane crash as the team traveled to Medellín for the first game of the Copa Sudamericana final.

It has a overlap v-collar with green trim and sees Umbro's and Chapecoense's logos placed on the chest. The phrase 'Somos todos Chape' (We are all Chape) is written on the inside of the neck.

White shorts and socks are set to complete the kit.
