Three Different Betting Sponsors?! West Bromwich Albion Sign First-Ever Sleeve Sponsorship Deal

Just two days ahead of their Premier League opener against Bournemouth, WBA announced the club's first ever shirt-sleeve sponsorship agreement, signing a deal with in-game betting specialists 12BET. The deal will see the 12BET logo on the left sleeve of West Brom's 17-18 jerseys and the club's trainingwear.

Interestingly, it seems to be the third sponsor in the WBA portfolio of the bookmaking industry as the club's website also lists Coral and bet365 as club's sponsors.

WBA Announce 12BET Sleeve Sponsorship & Trainingwear Deal

It is the club's first partnership with 12BET. Formed in 2007, the sports betting and casino brand has a particular reputation as in-play football betting specialists. No contract details have surfaced yet.

12BET spokesman Rory Anderson added: "We are excited to be the first ever betting company to partner with a Premier League club as both Shirt Arm and Training Wear partner. The sustained success of West Brom in the Premier League makes them a great fit for 12BET who have a long standing heritage as a recognizable Premier League brand."

Simon King, Albion's Chief Commercial Officer, said: "12BET are a reputable brand with a rich history of working in the Premier League. To have been identified as an exciting prospect by the company highlights the growth the Club has made globally in recent years. With strong Asian links continuing to grow, this was instantly recognised as a perfect partnership."
