FIFA Announce Official EFL Partnership

EA Sports and the EFL today announced an official partnership that starts with FIFA 18. Not many details of EFL's EA Sports deal are known yet as both parties just released an image featuring some of English Football League's most famous players.

EA Sports Announce EFL Partnership

The promotional picture shows Aston Villa's John Terry, Sunderland's Lee Cattermole, Wycombe Wanderer's 'beast' Adebayo Akinfenwa as well as other famous EFL players, with all of the players in the picture have had their faces scanned into the game.

It is not known yet if EFL's partnership with FIFA will add new features to FIFA 18 such as stadiums or more scanned faces. As of today, only few football League clubs such as Norwich City and Hull City will have their stadiums in FIFA 18 as they were included in previous versions of FIFA when they were Premier League clubs.

Schlotterbeck Deliberately Wears His Football Socks the Wrong Way Round

Borussia Dortmund and Germany defender Nico Schlotterbeck has a very specific habit regarding his matchday attire. The centre-back deliberately wears his football socks the wrong way round - the back is on the front, and the front is on the back.

In 2025, the Borussia Dortmund & Germany center back once told SPORT1 that this was one of his unique habits.
