Who Are The Best Players Wearing The Interchangeable Adidas Glitch Boots?

We take a look at the best Adidas Glitch players, a boot that is not promoted by superstars but by young players and other new 'football influencers'.

Adidas broke the standard football boot launch and promotion with the interchangeable Adidas Glitch soccer cleat. The Adidas Glitch football boot project was started in October 2015, and the complete boot was developed with the help of young kids from London and Adidas customers instead of professionals and superstars.

When Adidas finally released the interchangeable Adidas Glitch soccer cleats in late 2016, the brand launched them exclusively via the Glitch App in the UK. This made them both very hard to get them and also very interesting for boot fanatics around the globe as there were no reviews and press releases etc. The Three Stripes also decided that none of their high-profile players should promote them but young players and influencers on social media.

Chelsea youngster Charlie Colkett was the most important advertiser player of the Adidas Glitch when they launched. Since then, he already switched away from the boots. Currently, there are almost only players from the two 'Glitch citys' wearing the Adidas Glitch (Berlin and London). YouTube and social media influencers from Germany and UK are also promoting them as part of the 'guerrilla marketing' of the boots.
