Update: Two new close-up pictures of the Adidas Predator 19.1 boots has surfaced. They confirm that there is not very much a change from the Predator 18.1, with the most remarkable differences the upper and the heel area with a new stability element. Thanks to Pejie for the images.
Update: The first picture of the next-gen Adidas Predator 19 football boots has leaked, revealing what appears to be a rather gentle update on the current generation.
Forming part of the 3 Stripes' last soccer cleat collection of the year, the next-gen Adidas Predator 19+ and 19.1 boots are set for a release in early December.
Adidas Predator 19 Debut Colorway
This picture shows the Adidas Predator 2019 soccer cleats.
The Adidas Predator 19 boots, slated for a release in December 2018, are predominantly 'Active Red' with 'Solar Red' brandings and 'Core Black' trim. This translates into a colorway that's almost entirely red, with tonal 3 Stripes on the sides - black is only used for part of the sole plate and the lateral control elements in the forefoot area.
Similar to what happened with the X from 16 to 17 and, more recently, the Nemeziz from 17 to 18, the next-gen Adidas Predator 19.1 soccer boots don't introduce a major update compared to the current gen, Predator 18.1. They still have a one-piece Primeknit upper with a heightened collar and very subtle control fins in the front. The sole plate looks totally unchanged as well.
Adidas Predator 19.1 - Features
- Seamless sock like construction with molded sock liner
- Controlskin upper texture
- Stretchy Adidas Primeknit collar
- Molded heel offers a snug fit
- Price: USD 225 (EUR 220, GBP 180)
- Release date: August 2018
The Adidas Predator 19 boots will retail at USD 225 in the 19.1 variant, the same as the 18.1. They will hit stores in December 2018.
