Brazilian club Corinthians is an advanced negotiations with the multinational company Unilever for an innovative sponsorship that could be debuted in today's match against Fluminense.
Shirt Sponsor to Appear As Soon as it Comes in Contact with Sweat of Player
The brand of a product of Unilever will only appear on players' shirts as they perspire during the match. The logo will be displayed in the main space of Corinthians' uniform as soon as it comes in contact with the sweat of the athletes.
Corinthians players trained with the match jersey to test the sponsorship. Corinthians and the sponsor want to make sure that the technology used to make the print will work.
The new innovative Corinthians Unilever sponsorship is reported to be a one-off agreement only. Corinthians has had no main sponsor since one year.
Corinthians uniform has five sponsors currently, including logos on the shoulders, the sleeves and the back.
