Closer Look: 3 Bespoke Umbro Medusae II Boots for Peru's Edinson Flores
Peru might have played their last 2018 World Cup game today, but their winger Édison Flores is probably still had some of the most unusual boots that will be in display in Russia this summer.
Sponsored by Peru, the famous Double Diamond brand supplied Flores with no less than three bespoke Medusae II football boots - a red and white one inspired by Peru's colors and a garish pink-green edition which he ended up wearing on the pitch. This latest colorway is actually inspired by the colours of native tribes in Peru, so it's a nod to the heritage of his country.
Should other brands have done something similar instead of what we've seen so far with most if not all players lacing up in the latest Adidas and Nike colorways? Drop us a line below.
