Revealed: Messi vs Ronaldo US States Jersey Sales
Some days ago, the biggest US soccer retailer, Soccer.com, has revealed which nation's kits and which player's kits have been the most popular in each of the 50 US states. Now, the retailer has published a graphic of Messi's and Cristiano Ronaldo's US shirt sales.

The shirt sales numbers for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the different states of the United States are much more balanced than the performances of the two players in the 2018 World Cup so far. In fact, Cristiano Ronaldo just wins 20 US states in terms of jersey sales, while Messi's kit is the most popular in 30 US states.
However, if Cristiano Ronaldo manages to continue his World Cup run and Messi and Argentina will not manage to turn things around, it is safe to expect that Cristiano 'will win more states'.
