Insane? River Plate Has PES Kit Number Sponsor
If you watched Sunday's Superclásico between Argentinian giants and arch rivals Boca Juniors and River Plate, you might have noticed that River had a sponsor within their numbers.
Number Sponsors Nothing Uncommon in South America
Based on the infamous Adidas 2018 World Cup numbing style, the River Plate numbers in the match against Boca Juniors either featured the PES logo or the PES 2019 logo. The PES logos were not clearly legible, specifically from long distance.
It is nothing uncommon for South American clubs to have a number sponsor, e.g. Flamengo had Tim as number sponsors some years ago.
River Plate had no main sponsor, interestingly.
